About David

David’s shooting began in his early teens and he has shot at county, national and international level. He has won the Olympic Skeet grand prix twice (2007,2009), the Olympic Skeet English open (2010) and he has England caps for 2006,2008 and 2010. He has also won numerous county and regional championships in English Skeet and won his class in the English open sporting 2000.

As a chief instructor at Bisley for over 10 years, he’s taught all disciplines and coached game shooters pre-season. His reputation at homing in on problems is legendary. Often one session is enough to solve that challenging stand or bird.

His technical skills range from setting up small shoots, range design, and equipment selection. He has refereed hundreds of competitions and as technical officer and range officer for the Commonwealth Games in 2002 and oversaw a truly successful shooting games.

David can advise on which gun is best for you, how much to pay and where to get it - no matter what shape or size you are. Left-handers, ladies, and juniors can call on his vast experience. Training and instruction

David tailors his instruction to each individual’s needs, be it patient tuition or escalating challenges. He takes pride in making sure every shooter gets maximum benefit in the shortest time. And there’s lots of fun to be had…he’ll have you hitting clays you never thought you would.
